The record library is and will continue to be one of the most integral parts of KRLX's operations. Home to over 40,000 CDs and LPs spanning back as far as the 1940s, it is an invaluable cultural resource for both the station and the college.

The library is maintained by seven dedicated record librarians who work tirelessly to organize, distribute, and preserve the station's music collection. All KRLX DJs and staff members are entitled to check out any part of the collection for airplay and personal use. While it may be confined to a small space, the record library is both the literal and figurative center of KRLX's work.

This online database for the library was programmed in the Summer of 2005 by Michael Gross. It runs on a MySQL / PHP platform and was programmed exclusively for KRLX-FM 88.1.
